Amazing owner! I called them 30 mins before they close for my son’s antibiotics and their delivery guy had already left. But the owner showed so much sympathy for my special situation. He called the delivery guy back and had the medicine delivered to me on the same day because I was away from home at that point. Really great person!

Old school family-owned pharmacy where they only do meds/health. It's nice to go back to a place where they take personal responsibility and care about everything. I'm glad this type of pharmacy and business in general still exists on the Upper West Side as impersonal, low-touch national chains take over every block. They're quick and deal with the annoying insurance companies really efficiently.

A rare example of an old school, small business straight up out hustling (and beating!) big corporation chains. Prices are fair, they deliver, and they are polite. CVS and their kind have literally nothing on Broadway Chemists.

I love Broadway Chemists. They’ve efficient, polite and so helpful. They are a flashback to what genuine personal customer service can be. I prefer dealing with a neighborhood store; especially a pharmacy. It’s such a personal business and Broadway Chemists get very high marks in every category. I wish there were more stores like theirs—they really give you the UWS neighborhood feeling, I yearn for in so many other places. Please keep them busy. I want them around for as long as possible.

I cannot recommend Broadway Chemists strongly enough. I have never received service from a pharmacy that was in any way comparable to the service I receive here. This is a fantastic business operated by great people and the neighborhood is very lucky to have it.
