The facility was clean, and very well kept. 10/10. This is the only place I'll be going to for future emergency needs."

If I could give zero stars I would. This is not a hospital and should be shut down. I am shocked they haven't been shut down yet. I came in bleeding, had 10/10 horrible abdominal pain, dizziness, nausea etc. I waited in the waiting room for 9 hours. I asked for something for the pain and was refused multiple times until one nurse gave me Tylenol which made my pain worse. Finally, I was taken back after 9 hours of waiting to a bed that was in the HALLWAY. After 12 hours of waiting with nothing for the pain (I am still bleeding) I finally saw a doctor who spent less than 2 minutes talking with me. One nurse saw me for an update during this time to take my vitals. After seeing the doctor, I was put on an IV for fluid which took an hour to set up. She sent me for one test that showed nothing and then sent me home with two prescriptions while I was still bleeding and in pain. One for acid reflux, which I DONT EVEN HAVE. The other one for nausea which is ONE symptom out of many. It took 2 hours of waiting to be discharged. During these 2 hours I asked over 8 people to take out my IV so I could get dressed to not lay half naked in the hallway anymore and they all refused saying they were busy. My fluid bag was empty, and I was being 'discharged'. ALL 8 nurses were sitting at their desk on Instagram or gossiping to one another. They were extremely rude to my boyfriend who asked a second time for me telling me to wait for my doctor - who never came to see me again because I WAS BEING DISCHARGED. Finally, after 2 hours one of them came over and took out my IV and sent me home. They were extremely rude and hurt my arm. The whole time I was at the hospital I was crying my eyes out and no one did a single thing or even asked what was wrong. Everyone ignored me in the waiting room and passed by my bed in the hallway. I am from Canada and I have been to hospitals for random things across the world and never have I been treated with such abuse. I even went to a hospital for an overnight stay in Zimbabwe (a developing country in Africa) and my care there was 110% better in Zimbabwe than it was here at Milford Regional Medical Center. I have photos of me in the hallway and will be sending in an official complaint to have this place shut down -- they should not be allowed to see patients.

Blown away by the compassionate care shown at this facility.

ER check in was a breeze. Waited less than an hour to be seen. The staff were kind and attentive.

I was admitted & spent three days. The nurses were truly amazing. They were upbeat, positive, professional, and took the time to answer any questions I had. The respiratory staff were informative & patient.

I would not hesitate to go here again, and am thrilled to have a competent option nearby without the challenge of driving to Worcester for an emergency.

Went in through the ER for what I believe was food poisoning. I had nonstop vomiting and liquid diarrhea and I’m 3 months pregnant. I hadn’t been able to hold down any food or water for about 12 hours prior to getting there and they let me sit in the waiting room for 7 hours before I finally gave up and left. I figured if I was going to be sick and miserable I might as well be sick and miserable at home than in their horribly uncomfortable waiting room for another 12 hours. All I wanted was some zofran to stop the vomiting and to make sure my baby was ok. Worst hospital experience I’ve ever had, I’ll never go back there.

Take the hour drive to any other hospital in the area…
The 5 hour wait is terrible. If you are lucky you will be seen in the hallway of the emergency room!
My one year old was in pain after having the flu and we were concerned so we brought her in. To be told by the pediatrician on call (5 minute conversation) that it was part of the flu and that she would get over. The dr did not even check her breathing, her EARS, or anything at all only visual check. Luckily we had an appointment scheduled with her PCP the following day to be told she had a double ear infection!! This is absurd and something needs to be done about the wait and quality of doctors at this hospital. Will be taking the hour drive to any other hospital in the future! So sad this is happening here.

As a side note the “federal” funding was onsite. They should revoke funds until this situation improves substantially because it seems to be the norm and no one cares there!

This place is everything that’s wrong with medical care. My 5 year old son has leukemia and is a patient of Boston Children’s hospital. They sent him to Milford regional for an emergency because he spiked a fever and it is urgent that they get antibiotics administered immediately (within an hour). Boston Children’s did call ahead of time to communicate the urgency and that he needs to be seen immediately. I told the nurse at the desk (Patrick B) at the front desk the situation , and his response was “well, this isn’t Boston Children’s Hospital and you need to wait in line.” they don’t have the ethics, morals, knowledge or urgency to treat patients accordingly and I feel I risked my sons life by coming here. This place and healthcare shouldn’t be allowed to operate in this manner.

The reception in neurology treated me like absolute scum for b3ing 17 minutes late in snow on Christmas eve. Even though they knew on phone. It's one thing to reschedule. It's an entirely other to treat someone like garbage. I had such good experiences in this hospital in surgery and er. But this neurology department is absolute trash. They lied to my face as well. I avoided neurologist for years bc of how one treated me in my 20s. N9w after this I rather just let the seizures finish me than ever even try again after this.

P.s. about 10 minutes after leaving, we had to pull over bc I had a stress seizure. Oh the irony of a department supposed to help that exact thing actually caused one. Thanks guys, all I wanted for Christmas was some dang help and you made the problem worse. And I won't even go to hospital about it bc yall left a bad taste in my mouth bout going back.

Do not go to Milford ER!! I was brought in by ambulance tonight for a severe migraine and 2 1/2 hours later never saw a Dr!! Was told by staff only 1 ER Dr!! They would be in 2 more hours!!! The nurses took blood and left it sitting on the sink for an hour and put IV in but couldn’t give me the drip.. I ended up leaving.. Milford used to be a great hospital back in the 90’s when I raised my kids.. now I wouldn’t send my dog there.. our healthcare system has declined so badly.. god help us all…
